Home Generator HQ is a comparison site. This page explains, in plain language, what information is — and is not — collected when you visit.
What we don't collect
This site has no accounts, no comments, and no checkout, and we never ask for your name or payment details. The one exception is the optional email signup on the generator size calculator page, covered next.
The email list
If you join the Home Generator HQ list on the calculator page, we store your email address, the date you joined, and the generator size your calculation produced, in our own Cloudflare account. The list exists for generator price alerts and checklists from this site. It is never sold or shared. To unsubscribe or have your address deleted, email contact@homegeneratorhq.com and we will remove it.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard server logs — your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps — to deliver the site, keep it secure, and block abuse. Those logs are handled under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
This site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics trackers. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before the change goes live.
Outbound links, merchants, and affiliate networks
Product links on this site lead to outside merchants and affiliate networks, including Amazon (through the Amazon Associates program) and Awin. When you click one of those links, the site you land on may set cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy. For affiliate links, the merchant or network also records that you arrived from this site so a commission can be credited — that is how the links earn money, and our affiliate disclosure explains it in full.
We don't sell personal information
We hold no personal information about our visitors, and we do not sell personal information.
